Key Personnel

This page is dedicated to all the people that give their time and more importantly give of themselves to make Rhodes-France the pride of Lincoln Trails Council. The list is too long to mention everyone, and for that I am truely sorry to everyone that is not listed. Most of the time, their actions go unseen and their deeds go unappreciated. If it were not for those dedicated workers, the camp would not be nearly the 'scout haven' that it is today. There is nothing but honor and nobility in what they do for the camp, and more importantly, what they do for the scouts. This page is to say "Thank You" for their dedication to the youth, for they are the back-bone of the camp, and it is only fitting that they be recoginized for their devotion to the camp and to the Boy Scouts.

Ranger

Phil Cloe

Phil worked at summer camp this year as a maintenance person and showed tremendous initiative and concern for making camp the best it can be for our members. Phil worked for the City of Pana, taking care of their parks and grounds for many years. He is also proficient with all of the tools and machinery at camp, and has experience in repairing just about anything you can think of. Perhaps the best thing about Phil is his attitude and demeanor - he always has a smile and is willing to help our campers whenever he can. The next time you visit Rhodes France Scout Reservation, please take time to say hello and welcome our new Camp Ranger!

Camp Director

Matt Kaufman

Matt has served as Program Director for two years and is now moving up to serve as Camp Director. He also serves as Lincoln Trails Council registrar. Matt's position is that the camp staff is here to make summer camp the most enjoyable and educational experience possible for the campers.
